FEDERAL MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY PUBLIC NOTICE
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS / PROPOSALS FOR RESEARCH GRANT ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IT

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) was set up to facilitate the inclusive growth of information technology in Nigeria. In line with its mandate, NITDA is encouraging research in IT development and applications through the provision of research grants to assist Researchers, Entrepreneurs and Developers in this area of national interest.

NITDA is therefore calling for applications for grant in the form of proposals from interested persons in this relevant field.

Application Forms including detailed Guidelines for the Proposals are made available and obtainable on the NITDA grants website...click on site


The proposal should strictly follow the format given in the Guidelines and should be word-processed, double spaced on A4 paper size, 12 points font, Times New Roman, not be more than five (5) pages in length.
A passport size colour picture must be placed on the top right corner of the first page of the application.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHT
Applicants should note that the outcome and any deliverables from the research project would be sole property of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).


SUBMISSION AND CLOSING DATE
All proposals must be submitted to NITDA by email (cizi@nitda.gov.ng or onibere@uniben.edu) as an attachment not later than 25th July 2012 .
