More Power to Women

We salute all Women on this historic International Women's Day. The empowerment of women is a requirement for a sustainable world.

Jidaw Systems (Jidaw) the socially driven firm in Nigeria providing IT services will be marking 100 years of International Women’s Day in 2011 through a special session on the Advancement and Empowerment of Women through ICTs - Empower Women, Create the Future, during its March 2011 FREE IT Career Seminar on March  12, 2011.

The only requirements to attend the seminar are to have a desire to build a career in IT and to register before the event date. There are no registration fees. The IT Career Seminar is free to attend.

More Power to Women

Jidaw will use this special session to celebrate the achievement of women in ICT to inform and encourage women and men about the impact women have in ICT. Many of us have stood on the shoulders of these great women. Their efforts will not be in vain.

The special session is also an opportunity to sensitize the public and create awareness on policies, practices and action that are needed for the advancement and empowerment of women through ICTs.
