PUBLIC NOTICE
Disclaimer On Vacancy
"The attention of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has been drawn to fake and fraudulent advertisements currently making the rounds on the Internet announcing vacancies at the Commission for various positions in its Engineering, Management and Marketing departments, instructing applicants to forward recent Curriculum Vitae (CV) with photocopies of credentials and names of three (3) Referees to ncc@ncc.gov.ng.
The advert is also requesting payment of a refundable recruitment processing fee of N85,000.00 to one Mrs. Vero Imine, bank account no. 01000520072302 UBA.
The Nigerian Communications Commission hereby states categorically that it did not authorize the publication of such vacancies by the faceless individuals or groups. The Commission therefore wishes to dissociate itself from any of such claim of vacancies, as no such vacancies exist in the commission.
The general public is hereby advised to ignore such advertisements and the fraudulent demand for processing fees, as the Commission being an agency of the Federal Government, will on no account request any form of payment for recruitment processes."
The announcement was signed by Dave Imoko, Director, Public Affairs at the Nigerian Communications Commission.
