According to the release from Google "the New Business Development group works with Product, Engineering and other teams on new product incubation and exploratory efforts, technology and meta-data licensing, strategic partnerships, urgent special projects, and alternative distribution for existing and new business initiatives. Our team consists of creative, entrepreneurial, highly organized leaders, well versed in a broad range of technologies, who can spot opportunities, evaluate inbound inquiries, build partnerships, collaborate with many internal functional groups globally, and negotiate and close business deals".

JobsNigeriaPlus notes that Google is expanding its human capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa. The successful candidate is expected to work closely with the wider Google team on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships. Further details from Google state that:

As part of the Sub-Saharan Africa team, you will work with product, engineering and other teams on new product incubation and exploratory efforts, strategic partnerships, special projects and alternative distribution for existing and new business initiatives. This team consists of creative, entrepreneurial, highly organized leaders, well versed in a broad range of technologies, who can spot opportunities, evaluate inbound inquiries, build partnerships, collaborate with many internal functional groups globally and negotiate and close business deals.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Country Lead and the Africa Business Development team to achieve objectives and key results for the region in addition to developing a strong understanding of Google products, strategy, and values.
- Build and leverage relationships across Google globally with a focus on the New Business Development, partnerships, product, marketing and PR teams.
- Identify deal opportunities and assist deal leader in negotiation process, manage deal implementation with partner team to ensure timely execution, including developing term sheet summaries, working with legal team to process contracts.
- Shape and implement other priority projects that could involve product launches, PR or marketing activities, leading Google product training sessions.
- Create project support and analysis, presentations, reporting, industry research.

Requirements:
- MA/MS degree preferred with a strong academic record.
In-depth experience operating within cross-functional teams (product management, implementation, legal, finance, marketing).
- Experience identifying partners, analyzing and structuring complex deal structures with a proven track record of deal negotiation and execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; communicates project priorities and represents Africa Business Development team well internally. High level of comfort escalating and presenting key deal issues to Google senior management when appropriate.
- Ability to perform research on and assist with execution on several time-sensitive project/deals at once in a fast paced environment with minimal direction.

JobsNigeriaPlus notes that the Videographer/Photographer  job  position is in the Strategic Planning and Membership Department within the General Secretariat which directs all the administrative and financial aspects of ITU’s activities.

Duties / Responsibilities include
Translate ITU strategic goals into creative, effective AV content and delivery across all appropriate platforms; Provide advice on the need for further coverage of specific programmes and topics and how AV strategy can be improved; Responsible for high-end video features and programmes of varying lengths. Conceptualize, storyboard, film and edit a variety of AV styles: documentary, news clips, promotions films and commercial spots. Design, create and deliver new and effective communications products and services; Direct production of video programmes on the activities of ITU, primarily for television and websites and more.


Qualifications required
Education:

Advanced university degree in journalism, filmmaking or communication with courses in cinematography and television production or a related field OR education in a reputed college of advanced education with a diploma of equivalent standard to that of an advanced university degree in one of the fields above. Technical training in video production is required. Technical training in photography would be an asset.

Experience:
At least five years of progressively responsible experience in video production and photography or related field, including at least two at the international level. Media relations experience would be an asset; A Doctorate in a related field can be considered as a substitute for two years of working experience.

Languages:
Excellent knowledge of one of the six official languages of the ITU (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish), and very good knowledge of a second official language. Knowledge of a third official language would be an advantage.

 Creativity:
Possess strong creative vision to plan and execute video interviews/stories/documentaries; Ability to think strategically while not losing sight of the details; Ability and flexibility to implement a wide range of styles as required.

Technical competencies:
Versatile professional TV producer/cameraman/editor fully proficient in the use of both analogue and digital video; Thorough knowledge of digital equipment and processes including exporting to various platforms, compression, streaming and storage techniques; Advanced computer skills to use relevant software such as Finalcut Pro and other applications; Ability to organize and manage a small but full-fledged video and audio studio; Knowledge of both traditional and new multimedia is required; Experience with photography equipment including all functionalities of the camera and proficiency in photo editing and image catalogue software is required.
