The Lagos State Government requires the services of experienced manpower for the following positions:
1. Chief Engineer, (Civil / Structural) Grade Level 14
Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or such other qualifications and must be a COREN registered Engineer, in addition to having a minimum of twelve years cognate experience and be an Assistant Engineer who has spent at least two years on the Grade Level.
2. Assistant Chief Engineer, (Civil / Structural) Grade Level 13
Must possess qualification as in (1) above, have ten years cognate experience and be a Principal Engineer, Grade Level 12 who has spent at least two years on the Grade level.
3. Principal Civil/Structural Engineer Grade Level 12
Qualification as (1) above, minimum of five years post qualification cognate experience, be a Civil Engineer 1, Grade Level 09 and spent at least two years on the Grade Level.
4. Senior Electrical / Chemical/ Mechanical Engineer Grade Level 10
Must possess a degree in Electrical / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or such other post qualification registerable with COREN, minimum of five years post qualification cognate experience and be a Civil Engineer who has spent at least two years on the Grade Level.
5. Civil/Structural Engineer Grade Level 09
Must posses a degree in Civil Engineering or such other qualifications registerable with COREN, minimum of five years post qualification cognate experience and be a Civil Engineer 11, Grade Level 08 who has spent at least two years on the Grade Level.
6. Quantity Surveyors Grade Level 08
Must possess a degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent registerable with the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and have a minimum of one year post qualification cognate experience.
Interested applicants are to submit their written applications and completed forms obtained from the Lagos State Civil Service Commission website: www.lagosstate.gov.ng. not later than 20th November 2009. Appointment is normally on probation which may be confirmed after two years of satisfactory service. The posts are pensionable.
